Kid’s Camps

We offer great kids camps during school holidays.
Activities range from horse-riding, art, games, leadership skills, swimming in the dam, hiking, songs round the camp-fire, team-building and much more.
Our intention is to have fun fun fun!

Horse-riding

All the equestrian activities at the blue hippo are based on nurturing, with respect, a harmonious and intelligently co-operative relationship with the horses and each other.

We offer exquisite mountain fynbos experiences with the horses and also offer lessons in a natural riding style.

The Dam

We have a 2-hectare dam, 25 min walk from the tipi village, for swimming, boating & fishing.

The River

10 minute walk from the tipi village. Deep and flowing, great for swimming.

Nature Walks

There are some beautiful and fairly gentle trails through the fynbos.

Mountain Biking

Bring your own bikes or hire from Clint in Greyton. Ask Tourism

Drumming

Drums can be requested.
